location: the hotel was very close to sri lanka as well as a river cruise along the lake which ruka charged for a very reasonable price. located off the main road, it was easy to find.

Our stay at Villa Bird Gate was truly unforgettable. The owner, Rukmal, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. The location was peaceful and provided stunning views of the surrounding nature. The room was beautifully furnished and the breakfast was delicious. We especially loved the complimentary tuk tuk rides to explore the city and the fort. we highly recommend Villa Bird Gate for a perfect getaway in Galle.

The place was a bit difficult to find, but Rukmal was always available to help us with directions.

The location was lovely, relatively near Sea Turtle Farm. It also was right by the river😀

Absolutely loved the privacy and stunning riverside garden. The breakfast and dinner were mouth-wateringly delicious and the bird watching safari on the river was incredible. The room and bathroom were sparkling clean and luxurious. Only the soothing sounds of birds all day long.

The value for money at Villa Bird Gate was excellent. The room was clean, with a working shower and AC. The location was convenient, just 4 minutes away from the main activities by tuk-tuk. The staff treated me with kindness and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.

That the internet connection was not very reliable, with it often dropping every few minutes.
